    2014 Summer Basketball League Registration

    Registration for the Summer 2014 season will be held will be held on the following dates at the Desert Foothills Athletic Club Office.

    Thursday, April 3, 2014 6:00pm - 8:00pm
    Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 10:00am - 2:00pm
    Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm

    The DFAC office is located at 30845 N. Cave Creek Road, Suite 111, Cave Creek, AZ 85331.  These will be the only in person registration dates for the Summer 2014 Season.  Fees will increase $20 per player starting on April 15.

    Please bring the following to register:

  • Medical Insurance Information  (Policy Number, Doctor name and phone)
  • EXACT check or cash for fee  (Make Checks payable to DFAC)

  • Online Registration is now available for the Summer League!

    Summer League Online Registration

    Registration Fees - $135 Per Player.

    Multifamily Discount - $125 per additional family member after the first member at regular fee.  To receive the multifamily discount, all family members must sign up at the same time at one.  All fees include a non-refundable registration fee of $20 per player.

    Online Registration Fees - $5 per player.

    Late Fees - Fees increase $20 per player starting on April 15, 2014.

    League information

    DFAC basketball will set up leagues for both boys and girls currently in grades 1-8.  All games will be played in June and July of 2014 and practices will begin in May.  Games will be played evenings, Monday - Thursday inside the gyms of schools in the Cave Creek School District or nearby areas if needed.  Official game schedules will be made available about 1 week before the first scheduled games.

    Games will be played inside a gym at either the Desert Arroyo Middle School Gym, Sonoran Trails Middle School Gym, Black Mountain Elementary School Gym or Cactus Shadows High School Gyms. If needed, gyms outside the CCUSD area may also be used.  All practices will be outside.

    Teams will be selected via a league draft and no requests can be accepted for team selections or placements with friends.  The only exceptions are:  the child of each coach will be placed on his/her team and siblings from the same family will be placed on the same team (if they are in the same age group) unless otherwise requested.  Siblings in different grades will be placed in separate leagues.

    Player registration may be limited due to gym limitations, so please register early.  


    Special Notes

  • As a result of our rapid growth, we need coaches for ALL age groups.  Teams cannot be formed until coaches are in place.  Sign up at registration!!
  • Everything is included with your registration fee (uniform, trophy, fundraising).
  • NO request can be accepted for placement with friends or coaches.
