Desert Foothills Athletic Club (DFAC) provides youth recreational, developmental, and competitive programs in Basketball, Lacrosse, and Soccer, which focus on providing children with a rewarding opportunity to participate in youth sports. Our direction is to promote the value of youth sports while emphasizing fun and respect for the game. Desert Foothills Athletic Club (DFAC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit established in 1985 serving the youth in the North Phoenix area with most of our players residing in the Cave Creek School District.

Our History:  Desert Foothills Athletic Club (DFAC) was established in 1983 serving the youth in the North Phoenix and Cave Creek area. In the early 1990’s, DFAC began running in-house soccer leagues for ages 4 – 14 and added competitive soccer programs in the mid 90’s. In 1997, DFAC added recreational basketball in-house leagues, and in 2001 added a competitive basketball program to our club. In 2013 DFAC launched lacrosse as our newest sport to our fast growing-program. Today, DFAC runs recreational soccer programs for ages 3-14, recreational basketball programs for ages 5-14, recreational lacrosse in grades K-12, competitive soccer teams for ages 6-18, and competitive basketball teams for ages 7-18. Serving the North Phoenix (and competitive soccer in NW Peoria) area, DFAC now has over 1,500 kids combined across all our programs.

Our Mission:  Our mission at Desert Foothills Athletic Club is to promote health and fitness through excellence in youth sports based on skill, sportsmanship, values, and player character. Our program provides a safe, family-oriented environment for natural player development and prepares players to excel during competition, training and in everyday life experiences.
